How to bring a vision to fruition

Soy Chocolate Drink

Since there are vacations, it is very difficult to find an interesting story of the week, because actually nothing important happens. The Venezuelan news are boring anyway, because they usually begin with “The president said that… blablablabla” – this man talks every Sunday for four or five hours – brainwash for the folks… means always the same – let’s call it “stuff”… a while ago I heard by chance or by mistake (as you want) parts of a Che Guevara speech – he used exactly the same words 45 years ago as the Venezuelan president uses today – and that’s exactly how it seems: We are going backward in Venezuela, I wonder when we reach stone-age.

We have 300 days sun, but have no sun panels; we have 1400 miles of the finest beach imaginable but only crappy hotels with lousy Venezuelan service; we have immense amounts of natural resources but the country is third world; we have the best coffee in the world, but everybody talks about Colombian coffee; we have the best rum in world but famous is the Jamaican rum; the highest waterfall in the world (Salto Angel) is in Venezuela; the world’s highest cable car is in Venezuela; one of the world’s most impressive and famous bridges (General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge) is in Venezuela; we have Tepuis and  Anacondas; only in Venezuela live Chigüires (the biggest rodent in the world – why is this cute animal not as famous as the Australian kangaroo?) – We have immense amounts of oil but no Dollars to travel – we have everything but are not able to have a good life.

I could continue naming all the big issues, it would take hours to write and read all this – however what really makes me upset are all these innumerable little things such as the following:

I have stored tons of the best cacao in the world (is Venezuelan cacao btw.)  but since half a year there is no soy milk available (in none of the supermarkets) to make myself a f…ing soy chocolate drink.
